I’ve always been drawn to visual art and cinema because images can sometimes express things that words simply can’t. These works come from different periods of my life, so they don’t necessarily tell one story. Each of them came from a different thought, feeling, or experience that I wanted to turn into an image. I’m especially interested in uncomfortable and provocative subjects — things that can make you question your own reaction rather than give you an obvious answer. For me, a work becomes interesting when it stays with you. When you leave the room, but somehow the image doesn’t leave your head.
